Responsorial Psalm (Ps 62)
R. In God is my safety and my glory.
Only in God be at rest, my soul,
for from him comes my hope.
He only is my rock and my salvation,
my stronghold; I shall not be disturbed.

In the United States today is Labor Day. We ask God’s blessings on workers everywhere especially for those who are underemployed and those working in oppressive conditions. We pray especially for those who are unemployed and all who are looking for work. We also pray for healthcare workers and their families.
