Do this in remembrance of me. (1 Cor 11:23-26)
You call me ‘teacher’ and ‘master,’ and rightly so, for indeed I am. If I, therefore, the master and teacher, have washed your feet, you ought to wash one another’s feet. I have given you a model to follow, so that as I have done for you, you should also do. (Jn 13:1-15)

As we enter the Paschal Mystery of the Death and Resurrection of Jesus, our celebration today doesn’t end until we finish the Easter Vigil, and then it will continue throughout the next 50 days of Easter! Let us gently wash one another’s feet. Let us remember those who have gone before us and await the Easter that never ends. Let us work for justice that brings lasting peace. And let us love one another as he has loved us all. https://youtu.be/mgdIspwSjgY?si=riL8tWuaw8OibBfG
These reflections are a result of more than 40 years of ministry as a Roman Catholic priest. Most of these years I spent in the Diocese of Charlotte which covers Western North Carolina. Now I am retired, and live in Medellín, Colombia where I continue to serve as a priest in the Archdiocese of Medellín.
