These reflections are a result of more than 40 years of ministry as a Roman Catholic priest. Most of these years I spent in the Diocese of Charlotte which covers Western North Carolina. Now I am retired, and live in Medellín, Colombia where I continue to serve as a priest in the Archdiocese of Medellín.

Jesus said to his disciples:
“Be merciful, just as your Father is merciful.
“Stop judging and you will not be judged.
Stop condemning and you will not be condemned.
Forgive and you will be forgiven.
For the measure with which you measure
will in return be measured out to you.”  (Lk 6:36,38)

It’s the old apostolic principle: USE LOTS! Lots of mercy, lots of forgiveness, lots of love, lots of kindness, lots of hugs, lots of kisses. Don’t be stingy, be generousfor the measure you measure with will be measured out to you.
