Jesus said: “My sheep hear my voice; I know them, and they follow me.” (Jn 10:27-30)

It’s always good to remember those through whom we hear the voice of the Good Shepherd. For me it was first and foremost my mother and my grandmother who taught me the stories of Jesus and to love God and neighbor. As a church we are grateful for the ministry and witness of Pope Francis in his commitment to the poor, the immigrant, the sick, the imprisoned and the marginalized. Now we pray for our new shepherd, Pope Leo. May the Lord watch over the shepherd and the flock entrusted to his care. And may God bless all our mothers, living and deceased! Today’s photo is of important shepherds in my life.
