One of his disciples, Andrew, the brother of Simon Peter, said to him, "There is a boy here who has five barley loaves and two fish; but what good are these for so many?" Jesus said, "Have the people recline." So the men reclined, about five thousand in number. The story of the Feeding of the 5,000 is really the story of “The Boy with the Bag Lunch.” I'm sure the kid must have thought twice before handing his bag lunch to Jesus. But the kid had faith. Just like Andrew, sometimes we think that what we have to offer is too small and can’t possibly make a difference. But if we hand over our “bag lunch” to the Lord, look what he can do with it.
